Why aging pipe costs more than replacing it
A single overnight failure in an occupied building can run through several units, trigger a claim, and put you on your carrier's watch list. Add the emergency plumbing calls, remediation, and lost rent, and deferred repiping is usually the most expensive line item nobody budgeted.
How we phase it
We pilot one unit or stack, measure the real production rate, then build a schedule by riser and stack. Residents get written notice with dates and times, water-down windows are held to hours, and crews finish each unit before opening the next.
What residents actually experience
Notice on the door, protection on the floors, a defined window without water, access limited to the areas we told them about, and their unit put back — drywall patched, textured, and painted — before we move on.
